In Year R we teach the children how to correctly form their numbers using the rhymes below.
The documents below show the different methods we use in school to introduce key concepts using a concrete pictorial abstract (CPA) approach from Year R to Year 2.
In each year it is important for children to be able to understand and use key number facts. These, along with helpful models are outlined below.

Remote Learning
Children should be in school every day. Their learning is best when it is active, hands on, age appropriate and supported by our skilled teaching team.
