Finches class will be visiting Alpine Snow Sports in Southampton for a skiing lesson on Thursday 13^th July.  Having spoken with the children before half term, this was something that very few children had experienced.  Therefore, using our Sports Premium funding, we have decided to provide this opportunity, for those who would like to go, free of charge.

The children will travel by minibus, which will be fitted with seatbelts, leaving school at 9am, returning around lunchtime.  Therefore, all children will require a packed lunch (no chocolate or sweets), which we hope to eat in Joey’s Field on our return.  As a school we are considering our environmental impact and are therefore asking that these lunches are sent into school using a recycled brown paper bag which will be provided for you.  This enables all rubbish to be thrown away.   If you would like Hc3S to provide a packed lunch, which will consist of a sandwich of the day, biscuit and a piece of fruit, ensure you tick the option on the slip below.

Please ensure your child brings their named, clear plastic school water bottle (metal bottles are not suitable in school).  For trips only, it is acceptable for this to be juice or squash (no fizzy drinks)

For health & safety reasons, the children will need to wear long trousers, long sleeved tops and trainer type shoes.  They will also need full finger (winter) gloves.  Please also ensure you have applied a long lasting suncream to their faces.

In order to provide the correct skiing equipment, the centre need to know each child’s shoe size, weight in kilogrammes and height in centimetres.   Please complete this information on the slip below and return by Friday, 26^th June.
